White Oak Soap Tray | Handcrafted Wooden Soap Dish

This white oak soap tray is made from solid hardwood and built to handle damp environments without feeling disposable. The proportions are intentional — 5.5" × 3.75" × 1" — giving it enough mass to stay put on the counter while remaining visually clean and understated.

Rounded feet lift the tray approximately ⅛" off the surface, creating airflow underneath and allowing soap to dry more evenly between uses. This small detail helps reduce standing water and extends the life of both the soap and the tray.

White oak is used for its closed grain structure and natural tannins, making it well suited for moisture exposure. The tray is finished with a hand-applied oil finish that protects the wood while preserving a natural feel. Over time, the surface can be refreshed easily, allowing the tray to age rather than wear out.
